Enfield Arts Partnership Launches the International Paper Exhibition ‘Breaking the Mould’

Enfield Arts Partnership, the International Association of Hand Paper-Makers and Paper Artists have teamed up to hold their annual international paper exhibition in England this year. It will be held at The ArtsZone, Enfield, London and it will feature interesting and eye-catching displays from various countries.

Madeline Wright, Art Director of Enfield Arts Partnership and curator of the exhibition said: ’This is a fantastic opportunity for us all in Enfield to see artwork from around the globe and to attend workshops using paper in different ways. It is possible that we will even have dresses coming from Korea.’

Breaking the Mould will open to the public on Saturday 28th April and will offer an alternative to art-lovers to experience first-hand some of the most cutting-edge contemporary paper artwork produced nowadays.

The ArtsZone, situated in the heart of Edmonton Green in Enfield, is the borough’s largest arts facility covering approximately 10,000 square feet of space spread over two floors.

Breaking the Mould will also present special events and workshops for adults and children alike. These include: basic paper-making, collage, sculpture and mask-making.

In addition, visitors will be able to socialise and sample the food on offer at our arts restaurant, Bistro on the Green.

Breaking the Mould is organised by Enfield Arts Partnership, one of the leading business support providers for individuals, community groups and business in the cultural and creative industries in north London.
