Creative Skills North

Creative Skills North 

Funded by LSC, this Partnership Board is made up of representatives from the four North London boroughs.

The Creative Skills North Partnership has been set up to identify skills needs and meeting those skills needs within the Creative and Cultural sector. The partnership will endeavor to meet these needs as follows:

1. identify CCI sector employer/ee training and skill needs through a survey of select creative industry businesses ensuring a cohesive and qualitative approach across the boroughs;
2. provide more intensive training plans for a selection of the surveyed businesses that outlines skills development opportunities that can be achieved at a local level;
3. working with local providers, package a programme of utilisation of training opportunities as identified in the provision, and refer business partners to new or existing training as appropriate to their needs;
4. develop an employer network linking in with existing networks, creating an easy and accessible portal for the CCI sector;
5. produce a map of existing training provision for the identified skills needed in the CCI sector, developing standards of best practice and promoting growth and opportunities for communities and business in North London
